GEO & AEO

Getting Your Brand Recommended by AI Agents: A Practical Guide to GEO

Brighton, October 2026

Search is no longer just a page of links to scroll. Increasingly, it's a single answer chosen by an AI agent, and the brands that understand how that choice gets made are the ones that end up recommended. With AI agents now completing purchases inside closed ecosystems, without a human ever visiting a product page, brands that aren't built for machine-readable decision-making risk being absent from those workflows.

So what decides whether yours gets mentioned?

In this session, Jean Dejsuvan, Organic Performance Director at MG OMD, covers:

- Why LLMs don't behave like traditional search engines, and why "AI ranking" is the wrong mental model

- What actually makes a brand visible and citable to them, from structured data to consistency across the sources models read

- The common mistakes quietly draining brands' time and budget

If you own SEO, content or digital strategy, you'll leave knowing exactly where to focus before your competitors catch on.

Information Gain: The Missing Metric in Every GEO Content Strategy?

Brighton, October 2026

Thought leaders profess that GEO requires a scaled content strategy of 100–300 pieces of Ultra Long Tail content at a cadence of 1 blog/day.

At that cadence and volume, you can't use classic SEO playbook. So they resort to AI + Human workflows.

Said workflows produce content at a somewhat faster cadence than before. More pages, more FAQs.., without asking whether if said content is “net new” for the LLMs, what the LLMs are hungry for, and what actually shifts the needle of what an LLM says about a brand.

This talk introduces Information Gain (IG) as the metric that's missing. IG is a way of scoring whether a piece of content is genuinely novel relative to what the models already know versus just retraining them on what they’ve already crawled.

Drawing on real RAG pipeline architecture (chunk retrieval, source traceability to avoid hallucination, IG-Corpus vs IG-Model scoring), Paris will show why Information Gain is what practitioners should actually consider prior to targeting another piece of content.

Drowning in prompts? How to build an AEO program around the data that matters

Brighton, October 2026

AI search teams now have access to more data than ever: prompts, citations, competitors, mentions, sources, visibility scores, and more. But more data does not automatically mean better decisions.

This session will show how to build a practical AEO program around the data that actually matters, so your team knows what to track, what to ignore, and what to work on next.

Attendees will learn how to:
- Choose the right prompts and customer journeys to track
- Find where competitors are winning and why
- Separate useful signals from vanity metrics
- Prioritize the opportunities most likely to improve visibility
- Turn insights into an execution plan the team can actually run
- Use automation where it helps, without replacing human judgment

The goal is simple: less noise, better priorities, and a clearer path from AEO data to action.

Buying Ads in ChatGPT: what the data says so far

Brighton, October 2026

You could be working out how to get mentioned by AI. Joss has been paying for it. He's run ChatGPT Ads in the US and UK since the beta opened, with a front row seat to Adthena's search intelligence data while doing it. This talk covers first hand practitioner observations alongside the cold hard data: which ads are showing up against which prompts, how often, and what happens on comparison prompts when a third advertiser turns up to answer a question about your brand. He'll also show how ad density inside responses has moved since spring, and finish with practical takeaways and free resources to help you get the most out of this new paid surface.
